Client : Twix, a Mars product.

The Brief ? To envision the artistic direction of Twix on social media, and to create content that reflects that vision.

brand analysis

The first steps taken before envisioning a direction for Twix’s social media was to analyze current tone of voice, themes and the visual communication of the brand. Because Twix is such an iconic and recognizable brand it was important to focus on what the target user relates and responds to.

Starting with a mood board of images that reflected the analysis was important in the development of the artistic direction. Bright colors, interactive elements and overall relatable things were the overarching themes.

The concept

Playing off current Twix marketing of the Left Twix vs Right Twix feud, the screenshot concept allowed consumers to continue that playful interaction through a well known social media trend of screenshotting.

STORY BUILD

Several “story builds” were created based on the idea of creating shareable content. The goal behind envisioning Twix’s future content was to create content which could easily be relatable with their audience. By being relatable, Twix would be able to engage with their consumers on a deeper level, and also create an organic following through people sharing their funny, engaging and relatable content.
