Pythagora : FUrniture Design
College students spend most of their time doing homework, eating and socializing, mostly all at the same time. The concept of Pythagora was created with the everyday user in mind. The piece is designed to be light and versatile, and the perfect height to sit on the floor or couch and do work or eat. The table features a pencil holder, a place for book storage and even a bottle opener for those long work nights. The name Pythagora reflects the fact that the piece is inspired by Pythagorean triangles.
Ideations
The target audience behind Pythagora was primarily college students and young graduates. Often student dorms lack a lot of room, so the goal was to design a versatile, lightweight and multi-functional piece of furniture that every student would love. Ideas that incorporated different storage options, and unique features were explored
